Shiprocket Integration Guide Step-by-Step Walkthrough

2. Exactly Where to Paste in the ZeroRTO Plugin

Open your WordPress Admin > click ZeroRTO in the left menu > open the Courier Networks tab:

Paste this URL inside your Shiprocket Dashboard > Settings > Webhooks:

1. Account Email Field

The exact email address you use to log in to app.shiprocket.in. Ensure there are no accidental spaces before or after.

2. Shiprocket Password Field

Your Shiprocket login password. ZeroRTO uses this to automatically exchange for secure bearer tokens via API v2.

3. Copy Webhook Button

Click the Copy URL button inside the purple banner. This unique URL receives real-time delivery failure events.

4. Save All Settings

Click the green Save All Settings button at the bottom. The plugin performs a background health-check instantly.

3. Where to Paste Inside Shiprocket Portal

Once you have copied your store's Webhook URL from Step 4 above:

  1. Log in to your Shiprocket Console.
  2. In the left sidebar, go to Settings > Webhooks.
  3. Click the blue Add Webhook button.
  4. Under Event, select NDR Status (or Order Undelivered).
  5. In the URL field, paste your copied ZeroRTO endpoint URL:
    https://yourstore.com/wp-json/rescuedrop/v1/courier-webhook/shiprocket
  6. Click Save Webhook. Shiprocket is now linked!

4. What Happens When Customers Reply on WhatsApp

When a customer responds to the WhatsApp alert, ZeroRTO calls Shiprocket's /ndr/process-status API automatically:

Signal: REATTEMPT
📅 Re-attempt Delivery

ZeroRTO passes tomorrow's date to Shiprocket. The courier executive receives a re-delivery task on their handheld device.

Signal: EDIT_ADDRESS
📍 Address & GPS Pin

Passes updated delivery remarks or Google Maps pin to Shiprocket, updating the rider's navigation instructions.

Signal: RTO
❌ Immediate Return (Cancel)

Halts unnecessary delivery re-attempts, instructs the courier to return the parcel to warehouse, and marks the WooCommerce order as cancelled.

5. Verification Checklist

How to Know Everything is Working

Open your ZeroRTO > General Setup tab. Look at the top Health Bar: if Courier Engine: Shiprocket shows a green pulsing dot, your credentials and JWT authentication token are 100% active and healthy!
